Product is as described.

I recently purchase a motorcycle, and wanted to have some added peace of mind. I purchased this set knowing I'd use the disk-lock on my day-to-day travels, and the lock and chain on extended parking times. It's a tad short to connect to a pole if you aren't very close, but I knew that before purchasing it. If anyone really wants your bike, they'll just pick up and take it with a few friends. This is to deter the snack and grab types. You'll need to secure it or carry it somehow (I am going to use my tank bag) to transport it from point A to B, but you will feel confident your bike is secure.
As far as the actual product, it has a covering over the links that appear to be zinc coated, or have some type of rust-proofing (I am assuming that's what it is). The key and lock action is VERY smooth, and the plastic shell over the lock does have a thin cheap feel to it, but guessing it should withstand normal use. 3 keys as promised and one of them has a light. I haven' t tested it in the dark, but clearly its better than no light at all. The disk lock is bulkier than most I have seen and used in the past, but that's fine with me, I am hoping it would catch the eye of a would be thief and have them move on to your bike that doesn't have a lock like this!! I gave it 5 stars primarily based on price vs quality. This was the best bang for your buck. I would recommend this to a friend... and to you!

Great to use for high theft areas! This is not a sissy lock and chain. If you want it kept safe, this will do it. Plan on the weight that comes along with it though.

One look & nobody is stealing your bike.

My friend took one look at this bike lock, and said "nobody is stealing your bike". Then said, "you could always use it as a weapon, too." The chain links are much larger than they appear in the pictures. The individual chain links look like they're welded together where they close to make the link, no gaps for trying to pry them apart (as if that would even be possible with these gigantic thick links). This chain and lock are extremely heavy duty, really don't see how it could be any more serious of a lock. The lock itself is coated with an easy grip coating, but looking inside you can see it is solid heavy metal, not a flimsy lock coated in plastic, but the most serious lock.

No problems with the keys, they sent 3, I only put the lighted key on my keyring. The plastic attachment for the key ring is a cheesy looking, but the metal key part works great and easy to get in and out of the keyhole and turns just fine to open the lock. The lock hole for the key is v ery small and inset into the lock far enough to be a hassle for someone to try to pick or damage.

After visiting the local police station with a friend to report his 2 previously stolen bikes, and the officer explaining how crazy high bike thefts are in town, I wanted to get the best lock for my bike. After seeing and feeling this bike lock, I'm so glad I chose this one. I'm sure bike thieves will choose a different bike lock to pick, hack, break, saw, pry, etc. But not this one, it's just too heavy duty, like a boat anchor, it's maximum intimidating. I feel sorry for the people using cable locks next to mine, because their bikes are going to look easy to steal compared to mine. The bike lock chain is very heavy to carry around in a backpack, but worth it to not have my bike stolen.
