1Save your money!!!!!!!!!
By N. Walton
I never submit reviews so this is saying something.
Great price from Amazon but the winch and the non-existent customer service aren't worth buying this.
I bought this winch 10 months ago.Within the first 5 weeks of installing it the solenoid went out on it.Called them up and after a brief interrogation from a non friendly employee they sent me a new one.It took 2 weeks to get it.(the first sign of how much they care about taking care of the consumers)
About 2 months after installing the winch it looked like it had been on my truck for 5 years. The paint job must be done in the worlds cheapest paint. It's faded and pretty ugly quick. No big deal but just another sign of how cheaply made these winches are.The seal around the gear side of the winch started leaking almost immediately and creates a nice blown gasket look on the one side of the winch.
The plug where the remote goes is broken due to the cheap plastic it's made out of.That happened almost immedi ately and was no fault of the operator.(Just cheaply made parts)The wires on the remote unit are pulling out of the back of the remote by about 3 inches with no way to re-insert them. Now to top it off after only 10 months of very occasional use(maybe 10 times)the solenoid has gone out again.
Here's where it really gets great with this low budget company.I called tech support as I had the time before when this happened.(the winch is still under warranty )Nobody answered so I left a message with my contact information and the serial number, date of purchase and so on....3 days later still no call,so I called them again.Guess what... no answer again....left my name and ontact information again.....5 days later no call back.....good thing i just bought this for looks and don't need it to actually work huh?The following monday I called back and asked the receptionist Pam for whoever claimed to be in charge of the place and was put through to the voice mail of the customer ser vice managers voice mail...I left a very detailed message about the trouble I was having and asked that he please call me to rectify the situation and did so in a courtious manner.....4 days later and no call back.....WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!I called a back a fourth time and got ahold of someone in tech support(an actual living human this time)I told him the problem with the winch and he said "oh yeah just send it in and we'll replace it"I asked him if it was still under warranty why should I have to mail it in?"he said because they found out people were calling in getting new ones when they didn't need them"Yeah that sounds logical.......He them told me he would write up the claim and call me back in a few minutes with a claim number to put on the package I was responsible for shipping to them and paying for.....great huh... well guess what??????NO CALL BACK....so after 3 days I called him since I had asked for his name and extension.....He acted like no b ig deal here's the number.....
So if you want an inferior product and the worlds WORST customer service for when not if it breaks down on you go ahead and buy a SUPERTERD WINCH!!!!!!!
As for me I wish I had saved myself the aggrevation and money and went with a WARN.........
Lesson learned....SUPERWINCH SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Superwinch 1510200 LP10000 Winch

5Great winch at a great price
By UnusualDVD's
You can spend whatever amount you want on a winch from many different manufacturers. The choice comes down to: manufacturers quality reputation vs rated weight capacity vs price. Superwinch gets good reviews, and the price was very good so I decided to go with this winch. Installation was easy, and the power cables were long enough to reach my battery with about a foot to spare. Be aware that if your battery is on the drivers side firewall, and/or you need to route the cables in less than a straight run, you might be short on cable length. Other things you will need to install: 1/2" split tubing and zip ties. I also needed a short jumper to go from the included circuit breaker to the positive battery terminal. The instructions show the circuit breaker bolted directly to the positive battery terminal, but this was not possible in my vehicle.

5Cant beat it for the money!
By hannahuffster
I have had this winch on my jeep for only 2 months now, but have 9 recoveries to date. On the trail or in this winter record blizzard we have had here in MO it performs time and time again. The line speed is a little slow compared to some other winches but if you are not competing I dont see this as an issue. Built strong and with quality parts, nothing less than you would expect with Superwinch's name. This model is relatively new to the Superwinch line. I hope in the near future to see more accessories available for the LP winch line. For the money I have never seen a more reliable winch especially carrying a top of the line brand name. Thanks Superwinch for quality and Amazon for an unbeatable price!
