4Nice cover.
By L-Con
This didn't actually make a noticeable difference in oil temperature on my Street Glide, but it does look nice. The picture is a little misleading as this is not an actual Harley part. It comes in a brown cardboard box. I did have to wrap it in a towel and slightly squeeze it in a vise to achieve what I think was a nice tight fit so it doesn't fall off. It covers about 2/3 of your oil filter and would look best with a smooth filter not the Harley filter with the hex on the end. All in all I'm pretty happy with it as a nice looking accent piece.

5Style and Function
By joetao55
This product really does work! I live in Las Vegas and it is HOT, Hot, Hot riding a bike in 110 degree weather. I purchased this Billet Aluminum oil cooler first, for the billet look and second the ease of installation (less than 2 mins).Third the price was good. The finned billet look fit the other accessories on my 1990 FLSTF (Fat Boy) now I'm saying to myself if this thing works "COOL" !!! I also installed a oilcooler temp gauge. First time out I notice a 10-15 degree drop in temp that is good for stop and go, but once I got out on the highway 20-25 or more. I was sold! Finally a product the works like the seller claims and it looks good too! Others friends saw this product and said wow where did you get that at? I told them Amazon. Another thing I did'nt have to run any other oil lines and a big old black ugly box out front of the bike. Thanks for a product that has Style and Function!

3Oil cooler fitment on a 2012 Tri Glide
By Rich Lanning
In order to make this fit on my 2012 Tri Glide which has a factory oil cooler, I had to dsconnect the shift linkage and remove the stator plug. When I slipped it on the oil filter it would not slide completely on. The fins hit the housing that the oil filter hoses are attached to. I marked the fins on each side of the housing with a sharpie and removed the fins, only to the base metal. This required removing 6 fins. Total area removed was approx. 1in. by 1 and a half in. then it slipped on. This may become and issue every time I change the oil in the future. If you do not service your own bike and have to pay a service tech. this will surely add to the bill. Rich L.
