So easy, a geek installed it.

I purchased this in hopes of getting a mechanic to install it but when I was quoted $100 for labor, I decided to attempt it myself. I employed the use of my 23-year old son and we lined up all our tools in anticipation of an entire evening under the car. We watched a 2 1/2 minute video on youtube which showed us the same installation but a different manufacturer and dove right in to our project. It turned out it was incredibly easy and we only made one mistake along the way (putting spacers in the right place). Took us about 2 hours and I've used the hitch just about every day. It's a great investment and you can save $100 by doing it yourself.

I put this on my 2012 dodge journey and it looks awesome. Somewhat easy to install (using other website How to install videos). Took about 1hr 30 from start to finish. The bolt on the upper right hand after tightening sits to long and touches the upper part of the muffler. I had to take the bolt back out and cut it a 1/4 inch. Problem solved. Very happy with the product.
