Perfect Fit

I just installed this onto my 2010 Patriot today. It took about 30 minutes, very little cussing, as it was designed to fit. It arrived with the blades sticking out the side of the box, but nothing damaged. The instructions were easy to read and apply. Beautiful finish and well constructed. I would (and am) buying another one by Curt for my Lexus!

Nice!

I was surprised to see the hitch in my doorway three days after purchasing it very fast shipping! The box was heavy duty which was nice because that minimizes possibility of damage during shipping. The hitch was a breeze to install with an aid of another person just to do the initial lift for mounting. Access to the bolts is a bit crammed on the side of exhaust but very doable. My roommate trying to clean up accidentally threw away the stock hardware but it was no problem purchasing a new set at the local hardware store for about $10.

Great Receiver for Jeep Patriot 2007

I got this for my Jeep Patriot (2007 Model) so I can add a bike rack or tow a light trailer.

It was easy to install and took maybe a half an hour. The bolt holes lined up perfectly between the receiver and my Jeep. There was no need to cut my bumper. The receiver is extremely secure after being bolted and I have no fears it will fall off while I am driving!

After using the receiver for a few months as a bike rack and to tow a light trailer, I still have had no issues. It has stayed secure (I did check the bolts after driving with it newly installed) and it has been great.

I had initally priced a receiver through Jeep and the costs were over $250 for the receiver alone (it was a class II receiver, which as I would only be towing light trailers would have been fine), so this Curt receiver definitely saves money if you were to order one through your dealer (and dealer installation cost $200).

Overall, it was easy to install, se cure and works great!
