these work awesome for just about anything in the house, power cords, appliance cords computer netwoirk cables etc...., very handy to have around even got hte large ones for my garden hoses

Nothing better

The invention of these little things is amazing. I use them for everything! These 6" are perfectly sized to use on my travel backpack on the outside where I might want to attach a shopping back from the airport or a rolled magazine or the neck of a water/soda bottle (although I do love Nite Ize's bottle neck clip, and have one of those too!) or whatever. One thing to realize with these twist ties is that once used and twisted they will always have kinks in them. They are not going to look all cool and straight like they come in the package, which is fine by me. The wire inside seems very very strong. I don't know what is inside, but worry that if it is, say, a copper strand it will eventually break in some repeated bending areas however ... all good so far, and this is not my first purchase of these.

Much better than velcro straps or quick ties...

Once you use gear ties, you will never want to use twisty-ties, quick straps or velcro straps ever again. These are awesome.
