Great product. Eliminates any rattle

I am more than satisfied with this product. I tested this with my 4x8 utility trailer as well a a bicycle rack. I almost forgot that i had my trailer on because it was so quiet during acceleration,deceleration and over bumps. Bottom line this product does what the manufacturer says it does. I wish i would have looked this up earlier in the past.

Quality heavy duty clamp for 1 1/4 hitch

This hitch clamp worked very well with my Allen 3 bike rack which connects to a Draw-tite hitch (1-1/4). The hitch clamp has eliminated 99.9% of the side to side sway I was experiencing with my bike rack. I only notice a 1-2mm sway which can probably be completely eliminated if I tighten the bolt more but it may just be rack issue. It's a huge improvement over the anti-wobble bolt which came with my rack.

The design is very clever and simple. Only a wrench is needed to quickly tighten 1 bolt which is the reason I went with this design vs other 2 bolt clamps. The clamp also matches perfectly with hitch and is not noticeable. This item is made solid and very good quality.

I did not give this product 5 stars because it eliminated 99.9% of sway and not %100 (I'm being picky :). Perhaps tightening the bolt with more torque will eliminate the sway 100%. However, my concern is that over-tightening may scratch the hitch and rack making them susceptible to ru st in the long run. Adding a rubber grommet on the bolt may eliminate this concern. With that said, I'm very happy with this purchase because of ease of use, quality and quick installation compared to other 2 bolt clamps.

Hitch Rattle Gone

I finally got rid of that annoying hitch rattle with my 1 1/4" receiver.
I trailer kayaks and because of the light weight, the hitch doesn't have the down pressure it needs to keep it from rattling over every little road imperfection.

But now, with this clamp, all is quiet!
